Mr. Sun Medley Lyric
Mr. Sun - Traditional
Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun
Won’t you please shine down on me?
Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun,
Hiding behind those trees.
These little children are asking you
To please come out so we can play with you.
Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun,
Won’t you please shine down on, please shine down on,
Please shine down on me?
You Are My Sunshine - Jimmy Davis
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine,
You make me happy when skies are grey,
You’ll never know dear, how much I love you,
Please don’t take my sunshine away!
Open Up Your Heart and Let the Sun Shine In - Stuart Hamblen
So let the sun shine in, face it with a grin,
Smilers never lose and frowners never win.
So let the sun shine in, face it with a grin,
Open up your heart and let the sun shine in.
Keep on the Sunny Side - A.P. Carter
Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side,
Keep on the sunny side of life.
It will help us every day, it will brighten up our way,
If we keep on the sunny side of life.
Bingo Schmingo the Song
There was a farm had a dog, Bingo was his name oh…
B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name, ohhhhhhh!
Well, the farmer not only had a dog named Bingo, but he had a bad memory.
Every day he’d go out to have the dog bring him his newspaper,
but he couldn’t remember the dog’s name…
so he’d try a different name every day…
Use the beginning letter of kids’ names…..
Smelly Feet
You have such smelly feet,
Such awfully smelly feet.
I take a whiff, I take a sniff,
and I simply must repeat:
Your feet they really stink,
Please put them in the sink.
My golly, my gosh, I wish you would wash
Your smelly feet!
You have such yummy feet,
They really are so sweet,
I take a bite most every night
And I simply must repeat
Your feet smell like a rose,
Please put them in my nose
My dolly, my dear, it’s perfectly clear
That you’ve washed your feet!
Little Bunny Foo Foo
Little bunny Foo Foo hopping through the forest,
Scooping up the field mice and boppin’ ‘em on the head.
Down came the good fairy, and she said,
“Little Bunny Foo Foo, I don’t like your attitude,
Scoopin’ up the field mice and boppin’ ‘em on the head.
I will give you 3 chances to be good, and if you’re not,
I’ll turn you into a GOOOON!
So, the next day…..
I will give you 2 more chances to be good, and if you’re not,
I’ll turn you into a GOOOON!
So, the next day……
Little bunny Foo Foo hopping through the forest,
Scooping up the field mice and boppin’ ‘em on the head.
Down came the good fairy, and she said,
“Little Bunny Foo Foo, I don’t like your attitude,
Scoopin’ up the field mice and boppin’ ‘em on the head.
I will give you 1 more chance to be good, and if you’re not,
I’ll turn you into a GOOOON!
So, the next day…..
I gave you 3 chances to be good, and you BLEW it,
So now I’m going to turn you into a GOOOON!
SO SHE DID!

The Garbage Truck Serenade - Kathleen Rushing
Tuesdays the Garbage truck comes through town
Rolling down the street, making its garbage rounds,
Trash cans packed full waiting at the curb,
Little faces at the window, this is what is heard,
**The garbage truck, the garbage truck,
It’s coming down the street
The garbage truck, the garbage truck,
It smells like dirty feet,
Rotten, nasty, dirty, the stuff we like the best
When the garbage stops here it’s a stinky smelly fest
It stops at our house and down comes the arm,
Grabbing our trash can, how the flies around it swarm,
Up into the air, chug a lug goes the trash,
Back down comes our trash can with a bang a crash.
The garbage is gone, down the street it goes,
To a place called the dumps, where you have to hold your nose
We’ll fill the can once more, the rest of this week,
And again by next Tuesday, our can it will wreak!
**The garbage truck, the garbage truck,
It’s coming down the street
The garbage truck, the garbage truck,
It smells like dirty feet,
Rotten, nasty, dirty, the stuff we like the best
When the garbage truck stops here it’s a stinky smelly fest
When the garbage trucks stops here we are truly, truly blessed!

Hammock in the Shade - Kathleen Rushing
On a hammock in the shade Sat dear Grammy one day
Swinging with 2 little grand kids,
Along came a bug, Into Grammy’s hair it dug
And this is what dear Grammy did say,
“Well, excuse me you pair, but there’s something in my hair,
It’s given me quite a scare.
I would scream and shake and shout,
But from this hammock we’d fall out,
So I guess I just won’t care!”
On a hammock in the shade, In Grammy’s hair the bug did stay,
Building a home and family.
When those bug eggs did hatch, it was really quite a batch,
And this is what dear Grammy did say,
“Well, excuse me you pair, but there’s something in my hair,
It’s giving me quite a scare.
I would scream and shake and shout,
But from this hammock we’d fall out,
So I guess I just won’t care!”
